Enzyme-linked immunospot assay (ELISpot) enables the detection of antibody or cytokine-secreting cells at the single-cell level. Unlike traditional ELISA, ELISpot offers superior sensitivity and specifically measures the antigens that are functionally secreted by viable cells. ELISpot is an indispensable detection method, widely utilized in clinical settings such as the assessment of infectious and cancer vaccines, as well as the immunogenicity evaluation of cell and gene therapies.
